Dr. Timothy Hansen, DDS

Dr. Hansen graduated from Creighton University in 1999. Shortly after graduation, he returned to his native state of Idaho and opened Austin Creek Dental in 2000.
Dr. Hansen is active in many dental organizations including the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). In order to provide his patients with the most comprehensive and advanced dental care, Dr. Hansen devotes many hours each year to continuing education in all facets of contemporary dentistry.
He is a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center, an advanced learning center for dentists founded and directed by Dr. John Kois, one of the foremost dental educators in the world. This has enabled Dr. Hansen to understand patients’ risks and susceptibilities to certain dental diseases such as tooth decay, gum disease and bite problems which lead to broken, worn and missing teeth and a loss of function. Rather than just fixing the apparent problems, Dr. Hansen’s focus is to treat and manage each patient based on his or her individual risks and providing the most predictable and practical methods of treatment to address the patient’s problem; whether it be pain, loss of function, or an unacceptable / unattractive smile.
Dr. Hansen’s greatest professional satisfaction comes from helping patients and their families with their dental needs and making them feel like part of the Austin Creek Dental Family. Patients that just need routine care or to those patients that have suffered many years with crooked, disfigured, or missing teeth. In many cases, these people are afraid to even smile and often times, creating a beautiful, new smile literally changes their life. Dr. Hansen will always give you an honest assessment of the condition in your mouth and try hard to make you feel at home.
